Main Achievements• Developing the first OTS (Off The Shelf) Retail Software for the Swedish pharmacy market• The company landed 75% of the new retailers establishing on the deregulated Swedish pharmacy marketThis was a joint venture between Sirius IT and Visma Retail to develop a retail software for the deregulated pharmacy market in Sweden. The pharmacy market had been regulated since 1970 with then only one player in the market. With the deregulation in 2009 a whole new market opened up for new players ranging from the traditional Swedish retailers to venture capital companies. This was a very fun but challenging job since it required speaking with retailers, developers and government people responsible for the deregulation and the still regulated systems for prescription medicin.
