As a sales engineer at Flow Tech, I have been fortunate to take the products and systems I personally represent to unprecedented heights. I work closely with the consulting engineers to specify our products as well as local mechanical and temperature controls contractors. I also maintain a strong network of end-user relationships, including many hospitals, universities and large commercial accounts.I work with everyone at Flow Tech to help lead our team successfully into our next generation of ownership. This includes building and implementing strategic plans for the company, collaborating on marketing plans and managing vendor/supplier relationships including adding new vendors to our product offering.I joined Flow Tech at the toughest part of the economic recession, through which we have seen continual profitability.Successes at Flow Tech include becoming continually one of the top rep firms in the country for Air Monitor Corporation, increasing our custom air handling unit offerings and sales, and receiving numerous successive awards for sales performance associated with control dampers.

As Flow Tech's FIRST EVER intern, it was my responsibility to support the entire Flow Tech staff in whatever needed to be accomplished. Some of these tasks included generating quotations and submittals, learning the bidding process and understanding our product offerings in depth.Most importantly, this is when I first got a glimpse of how the construction industry functions, how a manufacturer's representative firm can be successful, and what makes Flow Tech a superior provider of sustainable solutions!

As an intern at BVH, I provided support to the CAD operators and design engineers. I was proficient in AutoCAD and collaborated with the design electrical, plumbing and mechanical engineers to draw the building systems.Successes included advanced drawings of HVAC systems in 3-D (which was rare for AutoCAD at the time) as well as a complete electrical distribution study for a local hospital. The study, which took several months, involved research of several decades of old as-built drawings to map the existing electrical distribution system, identify weaknesses and suggest improvements.
