Technology and education. My two greatest passions, the overlap of which can achieve a new paradigm of learning. I seek to discover, develop and support educational experiences in my school and across the country.Modern times provide the opportunity to instantly access all the information we could want. We just need to know how to curate the journey. I believe in a "learning through experience" philosophy, and technology allows students to authentically explore and discover their own knowledge. I always look for new methodologies to engage students better, and spend my days encouraging and supporting other teachers to do the same. As much as I want to engender a love for learning in my students and support them in their growth, I try and apply the same to my life by engaging with any new ideas that I can, seeking to be a life-long learner. I am well rehearsed in curriculum development, public speaking, writing and research, which aids in finding new ideas and bringing them into the classroom in the most accessible way for my colleagues, even those who are intimidated by technology.
