Managed the Global IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Information Security organization for Dow Corning, a specialty chemical company that demanded superior reliability and quality. Oversaw functional areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Network Services, Data Center, Compute, Storage, Database, Voice, Video, Collaboration, Global Site Support, Operations, End User Productivity and Experience, SAP Basis, ServiceDesk, and IT Information Security. Developed and executed a technology plan to modernize the infrastructure, eliminate technical debt and move to a best-in-class infrastructure.

Director GM North America Infrastructure and OperationsI established and directed the GM North America Infrastructure and Operations team, which consisted of over 600 personnel and had an annual budget of more than $650 million. I managed the entire technology infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, backup/recovery, networks, unified communication and collaboration, database management, mainframes, middleware, open systems, application environments, and security deployment. I utilized operational planning of strategic outsourcing to manage this large complex environment.Director GM International Infrastructure DeliveryManaged the European Infrastructure delivery organization at General Motors while simultaneously leading the North American Infrastructure and Operations organization. Director GMAC Global InfrastructureRevolutionized the organization’s technological landscape by providing superior solutions that transformed the way the company operates. Engineered the infrastructure architecture for a new credit scoring capability that reduced the time to approve a credit application from hours to minutes. Additionally, provided a world-class infrastructure to execute GM’s and GMAC’s cash management system, which processed over $1 billion per day.Director GMAC North America InfrastructureSpearheaded SmartAuction’s leadership role in revolutionizing the online auction of off-lease vehicles for leasing companies.
