Part of a small and dedicated team that manages and programs a bi-annual series of artist made film and video work that is sourced from across the country and around the world. Cinema Project is recognized nationally and internationally for its curatorial excellence and receives support from both local and national grant giving organizations including the Oregon Cultural Trust, the Regional Arts and Culture Council and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. I participate as a professional volunteer and work with other members to develop programming and further the organizations mission of creating public exhibition opportunities for rare and underrepresented moving image art.

In this role I oversaw operation of the Web Applications Engineering group, which builds and operates the web applications that power lululemon's web based digital experiences:* Assumed role after development, launch and stabilization of "headless" migration for North American e-comm web experience* Sourced and established leadership team of Engineering Managers, Domain Architects and Principal Engineers * Grew organization from a single team of 4 to a group of 100+ engineers supporting a large, matrixed portfolio of 30+ teams* Oversaw technical strategy for the web experience that scaled support revenue growth from $500M - >$1B * Led implementation of a common e-commerce platform serving our EMEA and APAC markets. This involved migrating multiple global markets (Hong Kong, European Union, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand) from Oracle ATG to Sales Force Commerce Cloud.* Led build out of lululemon's Membership technology platform* Accountable to manage annual operating budgets between $5M - $10M

Oversaw development of several project and product initiatives, which served multiple functions of the company. Drove implementation of lululemon's first progressive web app, which powered hundreds of thousands of registrations for a strategic initiative. Worked with colleagues to develop and then release an open source framework for AWS Lambda, which is currently used in production. Managed frontend redevelopment of N. American eCommerce property in preparation for peak season 2017; new site performed flawlessly and helped drive record sales through the holiday period.

ShopIgniter was acquired by Mixpo, Inc. in September, 2014. Within Mixpo, the team I led was responsible for social product development. My team focused on maintaining and expanding a SaaS product that enabled marketers and advertisers to run high performing campaigns across social channels. We strove to build the most comprehensive and innovative solution for running paid video across all screens.

ShopIgniter enables brands and retailers to effectively advertise in social streams.I started with ShopIgniter leading javascript development and coordinated the process of building out application architectures for our large scale single page apps. I held the positions of Software Engineer and Sr. Software Engineer before assuming the Lead Engineer position, all while working across and with the technical and product teams at ShopIgniter. I was responsible for coordinating development cycles, working to develop and document application architectures and working with the product and business teams to scope and evaluate product requirements. I worked with an amazing and talented team through an multi-month and multi-stage acquisition process while simultaneously leading the development efforts on a competitive product build, which resulted in the company's acceptance into a newly created certified partner category with Twitter.

Part of a small agile development team focused on customizing and deploying TYPO3 - a large, complex, enterprise scale CMS. At Cast Iron I worked directly with clients and stakeholders to manage the development and production of deliverables on-time and under-budget. I was fully responsible for leading projects through the entire development lifecycle from planning to release. I worked closely with senior partners to help scope projects and was responsible for overseeing and mentoring junior developers.

I was lucky enough to be a production assistant and intern for this now very popular and globally syndicated radio program about science and story-telling when it was just beginning to gain traction and increased recognition. I learned from and worked with show producers to conceive and research story ideas and regularly gathered and edited sources on-location and in-studio. I also worked to transcribe archived episodes.

At my first professional web development job I managed asset production for the site's global resource center and worked closely with the company's webmaster to produce xml and html documents to back the Perl based framework, which powered Grass Valley's public facing website and partner and vendor intranet.
