Screens and interviews program applicants and participants to determine initial and continuing program eligibility.Verifies provided information by requesting and reviewing third-party documentation obtained from employers, government programs and the on− line Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) System, etc., regarding the participant's income, expenses and other factors affecting program eligibility and rent share.Explains and interprets HUD and PHA policies, procedures and regulations to program participants including voucher subsidy applicants and recipients, and landlords; Policies and procedures include wait list process, program eligibility and income requirements, participant rent share, utility allowances, portability of voucher subsidy to other HCV programs, housing quality standards, and program rights and responsibilities.Enforces compliance with HUD's regulations for "Rent Reasonableness" by comparing and evaluating rent amounts proposed by the Voucher holder and landlord against the amounts recommended for comparable housing units obtained from the computer program for rent reasonableness.Negotiates with landlord for lower rent if necessary.Contacts program participants by letter, phone and in person concerning annual and interim certifications, moving from current address.Maintains computerized records and databases on each voucher holder and unit leased. Mediates complaints between tenant and landlord program participants including providing accurate information, and applying knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations to tenant and landlord disputes and questions about program rights and responsibilities.Prepares reports regarding status of certification issues, failed HQS inspections, and portability. Prepares documentation for program termination proceedings.

In the finance department, I monitored the companies accounts payable email system ‘Novell GroupWise’ as well as my work personal email. When vendors would email invoices, I would print them out and sort through them between which ones had purchase orders, 911 purchase orders, and no purchase orders. Purchase orders placed after landlord working hours are called 911-PO’s in place of the actual PO; inputted as “911-and the date of service” (911-10122017). After determining which ones were 911 PO’s, I would go through the companies excel purchasing reports to obtain the Purchase Order number given to the 911-PO. I used the companies ‘Emphasys Elite’ system for accounts payable processing. The purchase orders that had PO numbers, found in procurement, and received; either fully or partially, could be paid and put in for check requests. Invoices that did not have a PO or when a 911 purchase order didn’t have a PO given to it were scanned to a file on the computer to be processed to have PO’s. After check requests were entered, I would batch, list, and print the report to reconcile the invoices. After someone else would print the checks I would reconcile the checks against the transmitted invoice report.

Ebel Tape & Label is a Flexographic Printing Co. I performed duties such as taking orders for custom made labels; for whatever you wanted that needed to have an adhesive sticker. I took orders by phone or walk-in. Before a quote could be completed, certain specs needed to be obtained. When a client approved a quote, a proof would be made-up by the art department after a suitable artwork file was received; such as an .ai file. A 3” circle with a 1/8” gap would require a die gear with a 25-tooth. If there wasn’t a die gear that size, I would determine what best fits a suitable gear size by stepping it 3 across for a 75-tooth. Next, I would see if there were enough print cylinders & then determine the Circumference, Diameter, Distortion, and Distortion percentage info to have polymer plates made.There are two types of gears used: CP / DP (Circular Pitch / Diametric Pitch). CP gears are straightforward meaning that a ¼” cylinder gear has a 0.125” repeat length per tooth. DP gears are related to the diameter of the plate cylinder instead of its circumference.I would configure the DP pitch to CP by using pi. 3.14159/32DP = 0.09818, 3.14159/10DP = 0.314159I would determine the diameter by dividing the circumference by piNext, I determine the distortion by subtracting the circumference by 0.375”Next, I divide the distortion by the circumference to get the distortion percentage. I would draw a stepper showing the die cut, direction of artwork, or sheeted. If an order consisted of a 4-color process (CMYK) I would receive 4 steppers from the art department relating to each color; Cyan / Magenta / Yellow / Black and I would check the spread, bleed, colors, font, spelling etc.Other duties: Accounts receivable & accounts payable. Packed completed orders to get them ready for shipment or pick-up. Maintaining job records and keeping an accurate Excel spreadsheet of over 650 rotary cutting dies. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic knowledge of QuickBooks ‘99.
