CurrentI approach a company to suggest that there is value in doing business with each other. It is not the same as pitching on buying what you are selling. It's all about a more collaborative emphasis that conveys that I am going to be deeply involved in helping them reach their goals in conjunction with my own. It suggests more of an alliance between two companies than a vendor-customer relationship. My position incorporates the "sales" as well as the "marketing" portion of the process and is in essence taking business (whether existing or new) from cradle to grave more effectively and more profitably. I am the anchor, the relationship manager and the consistent presence to the prospect until and even after they become a customer or client.
