I represent NDI in Lithuania as an executive leader and direct its Belarus program. Here, I manage a multi-million-dollar budget and a multinational team of 15, setting the country’s strategic direction for the international, non-governmental development organization. I provided strategic leadership during a time of heightened political pressure and programmatic restructuring. I was recruited to serve as primary political officer at NDI’s Moscow office. The focus of role involved development of political and communications training programs and coordination with government officials, political parties and NGOs.✔ Identified issue-based political program opportunities allowing NDI to continue programming through a tense election period during which security conditions prevented NDI from conducting traditional political party activities. ✔ Provided communications consultations and training to Golos (Russia’s only independent election monitoring organization), which helped increase press coverage and led to first use of social media.✔ Analyzed and provided briefings on NDI-produced public opinion research to Russian government officials, think tank and research community, advocacy groups and national political parties.

Provided strategic, organizational, and communications support to a top tier Red to Blue congressionalcampaign during the critical final months of the 2018 election. Contributed to strategic decisions related to resource allocation, paid communications, and earned media in close collaboration with the candidate, campaign manager, national consulting team, and partner organizations including EMILY's List and the DCCC. In addition, supported day-to-day operations related to earned media, field, and the candidate’s public schedule.

I led all DPW operations and directed efforts to improve the agency’s future electoral impact and long-term party development. I oversaw a $2.45M budget and directed team of 10 permanent staff, up to 70 campaign staff and hundreds of volunteers. ✔ Played a pivotal role in the re-election of the first Democratic governor in 34 years, as well as the Democrat’s overwhelming victories in federal and state legislative races (2006). ✔ Leveraged technology to do more with less, uncovering ways to incorporate technology to reduce cost and expand the outreach capacity of a small-budget organization.✔ Managed the 2012 state party convention, an event with 2,000+ participants in attendance.
