Various jobs and roles during 14 years in the private sector, in addition to 8 years in the public sector, have given me a broad background in quite a few different industries. My working domain has always been within leadership, strategy, and commercial development. My edge is really being all-round in understanding business and operations through broad industry insights, courage to think differently, and curiosity to learn more. I am also a pretty decent person who will greet you with a smile.I am about people being seen and heard. I know it is only then really good things can start to happen in a team or a business. We need trust, encouragement, and support to achieve commitment. I am used to taking on the responsibility for budgets, teams, and results from being a manager and leader for about 10 years. My trademark is my commercial orientation, ability to bring groups together, and the sound strategies creating a mutual cause and way forward. I have learned to be clear, to listen and dare to make decisions. At the same time, I have also learned to reflect, time initiatives, and understand that change can take time and need finesse.While I definitely appreciate working strategically, I also like to get things in place. I want to start solving problems. That combo makes me into a strategic doer who appreciates the width in between, high and low. It summarizes something like this: I have led motivated sales teams, developed offices, recruited employees, managed innovative projects, developed training concepts, strengthened corporate culture, built marketing concepts, implemented pricing models, assigned new leaders, sold qualified services, launched digital platforms, set subscription models, arranged staff meetings, changed workways, negotiated contracts, developed digital services, been a moderator and speaker at many various events, transformed customer portfolios and formulated strategies in management teams. And the power of doing has borne fruit in implementing new strategies, realizing profit turnarounds, increased sales, investments, organizational change, and improvements in workflows.
