Continuing work for the Consumer Data Right as the Consumer Experience Lead within the Data Standards Body, which is now part of Treasury. As part of this role I lead and manage consumer research and community sector engagement to test and develop evidence-based policy, standards, and guidelines, while also conducting extensive cross-sector stakeholder consultation for the purposes of standards and ecosystem development and alignment. The overarching objective of the Consumer Experience (CX) work is to help organisations provide intuitive, informed, and trustworthy data sharing experiences with positive outcomes.

I conducted a year-long international ethnographic fieldwork project in Seychelles as part of my PhD degree. I used chain-referral, grounded theory, extended case method and a range of ethnographic methods as part of this work. This project began with the development of research proposals with strong objectives, hypotheses and theoretical groundings before funding, candidacy, and ethics clearance were granted. The project was funded by a merit-based scholarship awarded to students demonstrating exceptional research potential.My thesis engages ethnographic data with social theory to explain situations of conflict, focusing on conflicts in discourse, praxis and ideology. To do so, it investigates a variety of rituals, narratives, practices and dynamics, and the meanings behind them. I focus on taboo practices to understand the parameters of what constitutes 'Creoleness' in public discourse. This included an exploration of service encounters alongside the service experience of public health care; conducting discourse analysis that views discourse as a social practice that discursively constructs modern Creole subjects; and applying the extended case method to understand the ways in which ethnographic specifics are situated within extralocal contexts

Consulting as an experience designer to design and create an online marketplace for a tech startup company. To facilitate this process I was required to engage in discussions with stakeholders, mapping out requirements and objectives. Planning, design and strategy developed in collaboration with the developer and marketer to devise site functionality, content and the user experience (UX).User journeys, personas, wireframes and prototypes were developed alongside objectives to inform site navigation, content strategy and information architecture. Designs were implemented to conform to the company's style guide, business requirements and to create a simple, familiar and intuitive user experience.

Design for a new website for a local yoga school. I discussed the needs of the clients in depth and applied basic heuristics to the site navigation, content and design. Learning about yoga practice and how yoga practitioners interacted with the business informed and evidenced the design.I used human-centred design principles and collaborated with stakeholders. Wire frames and mock ups were continually iterated before providing detailed mockups and interaction notes to the developer to collaboratively build and launch the new site.
