Provided research, development and consulting support to AG's Creative and Pre-press divisions in the areas of digital art creation, production, and imaging; graphic arts technologies and workflows; and digital content libraries resulting in a 100% digital workflow for the planning, creation and printing of card and party good products. Collaborated in the successful implementation of the projects listed below, which were part of the Digital Art and Production Revolution that propelled AG from the analog film world into the digital age of product creation, plate-making, and printing and revolutionized the production of greeting cards and party goods. - Installed over 100 Macintosh computers loaded with Adobe software application tools along with Postscript based scanners, cameras, printers in the Creative and Pre-press divisions along with providing user training and support to all users. - Developed the Font Conversion and Creation process and workflow (analog to digital) using Fontographer, that resulted in the successful conversion of AG fonts from analog to digital and the implementation of a new digital font creation process going forward. - Evaluated, recommended and installed a variety of Graphic Arts hardware (scanners, workstations, printers) and software (art creation) required solutions and processes. - Developed and taught Guidelines and Techniques for the Creation of Digital Art on the Macintosh (vector art – FreeHand and Illustrator; raster art – PhotoShop and Painter) to over 50 artists and technicians in the AG Creative Studios. - Collaborated in the development of a gravure 'direct-to-cylinder' digital engraving process, using Photoshop repeating patterns, enabling a 100% digital workflow for gift-wrap creation.
