MHCI+D is an interdisciplinary graduate program that brings together faculty members from Computer Science, Human-Centered Design and Engineering, the Information School, and the School of Art + Art History + Design and seeks to educate a new generation of designers, engineers and researchers who can successfully combine the creative aspects of design and the study of human behavior with the analytical techniques of engineering. Graduates of the Master of Human-Computer Interaction and Design program will use their knowledge to create innovative products and technologies. I led teams of designers and technologists in solving some of the toughest problems in product and service design. I was a design leader that helped frog's clients understand the complexities of designing great products that met business objectives and resolved real human needs.My work centered on the design of large systems, particularly through those that manifested in multiple interface endpoints or those that required the expression of a product on multiple form factors. I was also called upon to solve difficult HCI problems, especially related to novel input and output modes, or to design for attention-constrained contexts, such as automotive HMIs.

I worked on contract for the Environmental Protection Agency, Region 10.
