Michael Paul is the founder and former CEO of the highly successful logistics franchise, PACK & SEND. He was a Director and CEO of the company since its incorporation in 1993 and up until the acquisition of PACK & SEND in 2021 by MBE Worldwide. Under Mr Paul’s guidance and leadership the company developed a network of over 145 service centres throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The company was recognised in 2007 as the ‘Australian Franchisor of the Year’ by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Franchise Council of Australia. Michael led the company to evolve and change in a rapidly growing market so that the brand lived up to its business mission of ‘complete solutions for anything, anywhere’. This included the company offering services through multiple sales channels that comprised; a vast network of convenient Retail Service Centres, Logistics Fulfilment Centres, Call Centre, Online Courier Booking systems, Online Retail Integrations and Freight Brokerage technology systems.In 2009, Michael was elected to the National Board of Directors of the Franchise Council of Australia - the peak body that represents the $144 billion franchise sector in Australia. In 2012 Michael was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the Franchise Council of Australia and remained in that role until December 2014. Michael was reappointed as Chairman of the Franchise Council of Australia from September 2015 to March 2016. He remained a Director of the Franchise Council of Australia up to October 2017.In October 2018, Michael was inducted into the Australian Franchising Hall of Fame.
