As a founding partner of Direct Mortgage Loans, I guided the process of setting and building the strategy and vision for the organization; regularly contributing ideas and options to push innovation and establish a better, more sustainable business. I conceptualized and drove the annual operating plan, managed compliance, legal and regulatory requirements, monitored financial viability and policy development and evaluated staff and organization performance. Additional details of my role included:● Business Development - oversaw product development and worked on strategic planning on the mission, vision and values. Worked on financial modeling to develop long range planning for the company. ● Helped create and manage the policy roll out for Compliance and Regulatory training, including overseeing implementation of procedures and protocols● Monitored financial viability and profitability – worked with Accounting on building and delivery of financial modeling and forecasting to create budget and staffing models for growth objectives.● Organizational development of staff – worked with executive management on training and process improvements within the Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post Closing Departments. Helped create platform for training and on-boarding of new hires.● Oversaw policy and procedure development with focus on process improvement and compliance - won 2016 Ellie Mae Hall of Fame for compliance automation.● Managed Secondary Department on hedge policy, loan delivery and management controls for profitability and risk while overseeing investor and warehouse relationship. Helped take company from Best Efforts to Mandatory Bulk delivery.● Technology - Managed IT Department and implementations of Optimal Blue, Encompass and Motivity KPI modeling and worked with IT team to develop and outline phases for future expansion of each system.

Built Retail Branch from staff of 4 to 22 while producing over $400 million in loan volume.Responsible for daily operation of branch with concentrated focus in areas of Loan Operations, Marketing and Profitability Margins.
