Niku Corporation was a well-funded startup bent on bringing Knowledge Management to the enterprise. Went public in 2001, then transitioned into pure project and portfolio management software with acquisitions and first release of Niku 6 (aka Clarity) in 2003. Acquired by CA Technologies in June 2005.

Co-founded Alyanza out of Stanford University. Privately funded and small, Alyanza brought its first product, a client-server enterprise time and expense tracking application, to market from a dorm room, a home office and finally our small headquarters in Mountain View, California. After acquiring first customer and luring our second, Alyanza was itself.
