I joined the company as one of the first employees in 2002, serving as Sr. Dir of Sales. Recruited to guide bus. dev. I helped put this startup on the map and contributed to the navigation of the startup and growth phases. Eventually, our needs changed and I was asked to build and improve our Sales division as we continued to expand. In first year from startup, I had launched our Go-to-Market strategy and related processes, which helped us secure our first million dollars in revenue. I sold our first multimillion-dollar program in that first year as well. Within five years, we had grown another 500% as I cultivated relationships with new clients in our market and built a rapport with our internal leadership. As a team leader, I was recognized by the company Chair and CEO for developing a collaborative workplace and sustaining high rates of employee morale. I helped build our salesforce from the ground up, including designing compensation plans, setting performance and professional development goals, and providing feedback and mentoring. In 2009, I was promoted to VP of Sales & Business Development and in 2015, I was again promoted to the role of EVP of Sales. Other achievements during my tenure include redesigning our pricing models to balance cost-efficiency for clients with profitability for us, partnering with the CEO on short- and long-term business planning and modeling, and collaborating with the CFO and our Finance division on contract structuring and proposals. I was named to the Leadership Development Team for Menasha Corporation, earning their Corporate Leadership Award in 2009, which is an honor given to corporate officers for their achievement in delivering strategic projects. I was also honored by my industry peers in 2016 with the PM360 ELITE Sales MVP Award, which is given to key influencers in healthcare.
