About Michael Peace

With over 22 years of experience in the Energy, Utilities, and SAP Industries, what I enjoy the most about what I do is the people I have worked with throughout the years. I love providing quality service to the customers that I serve, leading a team of dedicated people, bringing out the best in someone's work abilities and natural talents, and enabling the tools and resources that are necessary for team members to do their jobs well. I was introduced to the industry in 2002 when I first joined Entergy as an Analyst. While working in our back office organization, I learned the "in's and out's" of the SAP IS/U solution from an end-user standpoint along with the Utility & Energy business as a whole. I later joined the consulting side of the industry where I focused primarily on hands-on SAP configuration and being a Team Lead for full cycle implementations and post-go live support for multiple utilities across the US in their “Meter to Cash” areas. After 13 years on the functional side, I turned my focus to the Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Project Oversight side of the house, including strategic development, client engagement, sales activities, staffing for projects, resource recruitment, team leadership, and client relationship management.In 2018, I came back to Entergy as a Sr Solution Architect in the SAP/CCS space working on both projects and in the production support area. I was then promoted to my current role as the Service Delivery Manager for our "Meter to Bill" team within the IT Service Delivery organization. In this role, I serve as a member of the IT leadership team with responsibility for the development and implementation of application services for the Meter to Cash value stream. My amazing team (which includes 9 full-time employees and over 100 support contractors) is responsible for the application portfolio which includes, but is not limited to, our Itron AMI Head End System, Siemen’s MDMS EnergyIP, and SAP’s CCS/IS-U which is our billing and rates engine. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with our dogs Cody & Kenzie, riding and taking care of our horses, spending time outdoors, and following my favorite Dallas-based sports teams.
