In my this role, I am tasked with oversite of Preconstruction in our Southern Region while continuing the full Regional Manager duties of the Northern Region. This expands my duties for preconstruction to cover GA, FL and AL and requires an active presence in our Atlanta office.

I have bottom-line responsibility for all aspects of our Northern Region. This includes complete oversite of preconstruction and full support for all field and project management operations. Additional duties include management of the regional P&L statement as well as staffing. I am responsible for expanding client relationships and growth for the region.

After several years, I was recruited back to United Forming. My role was to oversee the estimating and sales department for the NC Region. This included reviewing estimates, improving sales, and building new client relationships.

Owner and operator of a full-service concrete formwork engineering company with resources to provide concrete line drawings, formwork design, reshoring design, and construction site inspections.

After a merger with Harris Rebar, I was responsible for running and growing the post-tensioning (PT) division of a rebar company. My duties included estimating and sales as well as managing and overseeing all the PT operations from detailing to fabrication.Promoted to add the responsibility of Branch Management for the rebar shop in 2015.

As the head of Engineering, I was responsible for all aspects of operations. Other duties included estimating and overseeing the fabrication of the PT materials and scheduling deliveries to job sites.

Once I became a licensed professional engineer, I assumed full responsibility for all aspects of the NC District engineering department. The department grew as the district doubled in size and we were able to become completely autonomous from our corporate engineering support group. My personal duties included reviewing all internal shop drawings and designing/stamping drawings for all the required formwork. Additional duties included inspecting installed formwork for compliance to designs and attending client meetings as needed.

While continuing to build the engineering department for our North Carolina district, I was responsible for coordinating all drafting responsibilities and preparing formwork design calculations and drawings.

In this role I continued to develop as an engineer. My duties progressed from line drawings to focus more on the design side of our business. In 2004, the company relocated me back to Raleigh to start an engineering department in our North Carolina District.

Continuing employment from my internship, I moved to Atlanta, GA to start my full-time career. In this position I produced basic line drawings and was introduced into designing formwork for commercial concrete construction projects.

As a summer and fall intern, I was introduced to the commercial concrete construction industry. In the summer, I was in Atlanta and worked in the engineering department producing line drawings and entry level calculations for formwork designs. In the Fall, I was back in Raleigh and split time between school and work. My duties were to assist the project management and sales team.
