CurrentAs a seasoned intellectual property problem-solver with over thirty years of experience, I've navigated both boardrooms and courtrooms to advocate and secure resolutions for domestic and international clients. Besides managing IP portfolios—ranging from monetization to litigation—I have overseen personnel within law firms, guiding recruitment, training, retention, and budgeting. My leadership roles include directing a general litigation section and an IP litigation section, and I am presently serving as Chair of the IP litigation section at Polsinelli. My practice encompasses patent, copyright, trademark, trade dress, and trade secret matters. I work intimately with clients across diverse industries to address issues pertaining to the safeguarding and growth of their intellectual property's economic value. Although my litigation experience is domestically rooted, my client base extends internationally. I've also been a sought-after voice of the legal community, leading seminars for various organizations including the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the State Bar of Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association.
