Whilst her diagnosis was devasting, it began a new chapter. Alongside working as Executive Underwriter, Broker Strategy & Head of Operational Underwriting at Ascot Underwriting Limited, I started fundraising for the Batten Disease Family Association to help families facing the same crisis as us.
