Chicago Rockford International Airport

• Overhauled Airport Internship program in 2011. Served as Internship Committee chair. Established guidelines and implemented multiple 1000 hr internships. Created intern handbook with all relevant Airport policies and procedures.• Member of Airport Safety Committee responsible for providing oversight, training, and inspections to improve job safety. Served as safety training coordinator for all airport staff and assured yearly OSHA training standards were met.• Oversaw Airport's Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan including annual inspections and regular updates. Directed all co-permittee activity at the Airport.• Performed inspections of the movement areas in compliance with FAR 139-327. Issued NOTAMs and field condition reports. Applied the directives within the Airport Security Plan including issuance and updates for over 750 active airport badges, perimeter inspections, badge inspections on the AOA, and response to door alarms.• Updated Airport Emergency Plan in 2012 to comply with National Incident Management standards.• Operated a variety of heavy equipment to clear contaminants off movement surfaces during snow removal operations including Oshkosh high speed brooms, plow trucks, blowers, and Volvo end loaders.

San Francisco Bay Area

• Managed the airport terminal resources on a common-use system including the assignment of gates, ticket counters, bag belts, and displays via RM software. Updated FID screens and assigning remote overnight parking. Resolved shared use conflicts with airline operations staff.• Conducted regular inspections of facilities to ensure safety within the terminals and initiated work requests for deficiencies. Brought SWPPP into compliance with current industry practices and ensured documentation was submitted in accordance with California General Permit.
