My position was essential to defining scope of work so the system allowed integrations, eliminate duplicate data entry, improved sales proposal generation, and produced an industry differentiation. To do this I traveled to Trane Commercial Sales Offices in the US and Canada to systematically initiate change management. This enabled gross margin and productivity gains of $4.5M over 2 years.
Chief Of Maintenance Operations
I was given this operations manager assignment to provide the necessary leadership to reverse a trend in falling KPIs that affected mission readiness. I was directly responsible for the supervision of 350 direct and indirect reports that were tasked to maintain 35 Boeing B-52 strategic bombers. I provided vision and set priorities for subordinates to support daily, weekly, monthly, and annual flying requirements. By placing stringent control over deviations to the aircraft flying schedule, setting standard aircraft launch windows to maximize manpower efficiency, and maximizing aircraft storage provided more efficient use of manpower and scheduled aircraft resulting in the best performance indicators ever achieved in 40 years of the B-52 aircraft. In 2005 the unit was recognized as Best in the Air Force.

Chief Of Quality
Led 19 inspectors responsible for evaluating 1,100 technicians from 4 squadrons. Made recommendations to the group commander to enhance quality of maintenance. Enforced strict adherence to technical data and management procedures. Acted as the group focal point when deficiencies were found in Air Force and major command directives and instructions. Coordinated quality deficiency reports with suppliers on material and technical problems. Developed the wing key and routine inspection task listings in conjunction with squadron supervisions.
Operations Superintendent
I led units ranging in sizes from 200 to 350 direct and indirect reports. In one I was Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 54 Boeing KC-135R (707) aircraft and associated aerospace ground equipment. I resolved daily production scheduling, personnel, equipment and training requirements for long-term fleet health. I evaluated maintenance data and inspection reports, reviewed mission capable drivers to ensure repair resources were effectively utilized. I analyzed Quality Inspection reports and initiated management actions to correct deficiencies. I took charge on 9/11/2001 and energized a unit to increase production 400%. We accelerated annual major aircraft inspections to produce in 48 hours an operational aircraft that was originally scheduled for 8 days. This resulted in the organization able to stand up an immediate alert requirement mandated for Homeland Defense. In another organization I analyzed, formulated and established programs, priorities and work methods in supporting a customer base of over 3,200 personnel with maintenance training, aircraft engine management and logistics plans and readiness programs. I advised executive leaders on the logistical capabilities and limitations associated in meeting congretional mandated commitments.I also served as the evaluation leader for supply, contracting, transportation, munitions and aircraft and vehicle maintenance functions in preparation for major quality management inspections equal to ISO 9000 audits.I led a multi-functional teams that prepared organizations to demonstrate their ability to follow:- procedures that cover all key processes- monitoring processes to ensure they are effective- keeping adequate records- checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where necessary- regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectivenessThis indepth preparation ensured the units maintained operational certification
