Colorado Springs, CO and Plymouth, England• Entered with new management team to salvage this mid-stage distressed, international company that developed, manufactured and sold medical adhesives for wound closure. • Reported directly to the Company’s President and CEO, and the Board of Directors. • Acted as liaison with outside counsel on general legal and intellectual property (IP) matters, including management of the Company’s IP portfolio of over 40 patents and 30 trademarks pending worldwide– implementing a “cash-preserving” strategy. • Reconfigured operational processes and cut operational expenses by 80 percent, overseeing the closure and transfer of the 50,000 square foot US manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters to Plymouth, England. • Negotiated and drafted company agreements for outsourcing the manufacture and supply of materials, product distribution, and debt reduction (settling or extending over $1.5 MM in outstanding vendor and financing debt). • Assisted with sale of Company assets and due diligence associated with transfer of operations to a public company in the United Kingdom.
