CVS Health Ventures is a dedicated corporate venture capital fund that will invest in and partner with high-potential, early-stage companies focused on making health care more accessible, affordable and simpler.Representative Transactions:- Venture Capital investment in Workit HealthCVS Enterprise Business Development team sources, structures and executes strategic relationships (joint ventures, development agreements, cross-business unit partnerships, venture investments) for CVS Health to enable and accelerate our purpose: Helping people on their path to better health.

Responsible for sourcing and executing high-impact enterprise strategic partnerships and joint ventures with innovative healthcare companies, executing new and managing existing venture capital investments and defining the multi-year enterprise inorganic growth strategy at CVS HealthRepresentative Transactions:- Venture Capital investment and Enterprise Partnership (Aetna, CVS HealthHUB) with Unite Us to provide Social Determinants of Health services to CVS Health members and customers- CVS Kidney Care joint venture with Satellite Health to launch dialysis centers in Austin and Los Angeles, with expansion into additional markets- CVS Specialty Partnership with Tempus to develop Oncology Care Management Program- COVID-19 Testing Partnerships with diagnostic testing companies (Quest, LabCorp, Tempus, LumiraDx, etc.)

Representative Transactions:- Strategy and execution of $78B+ acquisition of Aetna by CVS Health- Venture Capital investment in LumiraDx

- Debt Capital Markets including new debt offerings and tender/refinance transactions- Share repurchase activities including 10b5-1 and Accelerated Share Repurchase (ASR)- Enterprise balance sheet and cash flow consolidation and forecasting- Real estate sale leaseback

Private placement of real estate (Limited Partnerships (LP), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT), Delaware Statutory Trusts (DST)) and other tax advantaged investment vehicles (Renewable Energy)

Structuring and private placement of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) qualified and tax advantaged real estate and energy (Affordable Housing Tax Credit, Non-conventional Fuel Tax Credit and Renewable Energy Tax Credit) investment programs.
