My primary objectives are to ensure that the SAP-F application controls are working as intended, certified, and serve as the primary focal point for external and internal audits. I have created compliance heat maps and scorecards that concisely show status, risk levels, and root causes. I have designed and are deploying an IT risk management process in the Agile Scrum framework, and designed changes to the change management tool so enhancements are reviewed for new application controls. I have hosted numerous IBM Application System Control and Auditability (ASCA) certifications which helps ensure the control features in and around application systems work as intended.

While in IBM's CIO organization, my primary function was to conduct application audits of IBM's Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) applications. These application audits cover all the key application controls. I enjoyed the challenge of constantly learning new application systems and their controls, helping my colleagues, and ensuring before I finish an audit, any problems are completely resolved. And while I no longer worked for the IBM Software Group unit, I continued to manage compliance to IBM's application health check, and am worked to expand this to the entire enterprise.

Working in IBM's Software Group, I focused on IT controls and governance. I monitored and measured all unit's application audits for compliance to IBM's corporate instructions and standards, and drove actions to prevent and reduce any systemic issues. I represented the Software Group in IT Controls council. I was the focal point for the Software Group in e-Discovery litigations. And I managed compliance to IBM's web standards.

Responsible for a small team who ensure SAP Production, I2 application's Demand Manager, Demand Planner, and Factory Planner were ASCA-certified and audit-ready. Also served as application owner's representative. Responsible for over 70 successful ASCA reviews and numerous Corporate Internal audits.

Worked in IBM's Corporate Internal Audit organization. Major responsibilities included planning, scheduling, and performing audits of IBM financial and operational processes.
