Ensured reliable communications for approximately 4,000 people who were responsible for delivering 140,000 barrels of oil per day to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline through some of the most environmentally sensitive regions in the world in a harsh and demanding environment. Managed an annual operations budget of $6.8m and 2011 project spend of $6.2m. Primary client point of contact for outsourcing contractors who provide day-to-day operations of the field telecommunications services including Wide Area Networks, Local Area Networks, PBXs, IP Telephony, handheld radios, point-to-point microwave radios, fiber optic infrastructure and paging infrastructure. Translated business objectives into technical deliverables and communicated technical issues and constraints to the customer management and user communities. Defined annual project requirements and work with the outsourced project managers and project office to ensure successful delivery of those project commitments. Provided both a business and technical perspective in the review and management of projects.
