Clients value my ability to successfully source the most innovative solutions and the variety of options offered. There are many great products on the market, but they may have minimal distribution channels making it hard to find the perfect construction solutions.As a Division 8 Opening consultant, my knowledge of suppliers and products, including retractable screens, windows, and doors has been extensive. Product lines such as Phantom Screen, Graham Windows and Doors, WindowTech Windows, Porcewol, fire-rated and specialty glass by Glassopolis, and a highly innovative product called Vacuum Glass are frequently recommended solutions for my clients.At Ring’s End, I was instrumental in obtaining the master dealer certification of Engineered Wood Products by Trus-Joist, a Weyerhaeuser Company. My curiosity led me to their training opportunities and introduced me to this highly utilized key component of high-performance floors.Obtaining the Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification for Ring’s End was another key contribution. The certification process is a time-consuming initiative requiring inter-departmental coordination, and therefore, not many vendors pursue it. The chain of custody management ensures the product sold as FSC-certified originated from managed forests, controlled sources, and/or reclaimed materials.Acquiring the Certified Green Professional designation through the National Association of Home Builders has helped me incorporate responsible building practices without increasing costs.My father was a residential home builder. Working summers with him helped me read blueprints and understand structure. After graduating from college, I quickly found my way into the building industry through the materials side of the business. Aiding in building communities has been my career, but I also believe in giving back to my community. Therefore, I am developing ideas to continue supporting the community in a more significant way through my business efforts.My vision and attention to detail has been an asset to my customers.
