About Michael Rakowski

In August of 2016, I moved from Boston, MA to Denver, CO and could not be happier with my decision. I worked with brilliant and talented people in my previous position and now look for an opportunity to do the same and to continue to add value to an organization In the role as Regional Technical Coordinator, I was the conduit between the regional business unit and the Corporate IT department. Working on the operational side as well as IT simultaneously for the first six years, I was in the unique position of understanding the needs of the business and how the integration of IT increases revenue. When I moved into the IT role exclusively, the result was a stronger rapport with users from the front end personnel in the company’s locations to the President and COO as well as platforms that increased the productivity and efficiency of the business unit. And in those sixteen years, the regional business division grew through acquisitions from four locations to fourteen What I believe to be a primary cornerstone of my professional and personal success is to maintain a willingness to help whenever and wherever there is a need. Be it assisting a neighbor with a weekend project or having to stay late when there is an IT emergency. I see these opportunities to where I can learn a new a skill or different method to reach the same result to add to my tool box. Now that I have taken residence in a new state, the majority of my free time will be spent exploring the outdoors on a bike, skis or hiking as well as navigating to all corners of Colorado.
