Michael’s past training is an eclectic collage of various accomplishments. He has a B.A. in political science from McMaster University, a black-belt in tae-kwon-do, served in the Royal Canadian Artillery Militia, completed the Chef program at George Brown College and ran his own business as a personal trainer/strength & conditioning coach. He was first introduced to the acting world when, after a chance encounter with a film maker, Michael was cast in the lead role for an independent film called “Lovers and Strangers.” At the time of filming, a family member’s cancer diagnosis was causing Michael an unbelievable amount of stress, and in this space of creativity, imagination, and play, he felt himself come to life again.Michael’s path in life is always organic and involved. Jumping from one adventure to another with passion and energy, he brings that to RIZE Studios. As the Executive Director for Rize Studios, Michael is bringing his corporate background and his love for film together to help individuals build confidence and forge strong connections within a team.
