Reporting to the Vice President, HR Operations and Organizational Development, responsible for coordinating and providing HR, administrative, and project related support to various initiatives within the department.• Assisted in full cycle recruitment by screening resumes, conducting telephone screens, scheduling interviews, completing detailed reference checks, and drafting employment contracts• Drafted job postings to be posted internally via e-mail and externally through the ATS (HireDesk), Workopolis, and relevant industry associations and post-secondary institutions• Conducted benefits orientation for all eligible new hires and ensure that all mandatory company, tax, and benefits forms are properly completed• Processed all employee paperwork through the HRIS (people@work) in conjunction with the Payroll Department (new hires, promotions, salary increases, transfers, leaves of absence, terminations, updates to personal information and benefits etc.) while adhering to strict submission deadlines• Acted as the point of contact for employees regarding HR and benefits matters• Acted as Training Administrator and ensure all new hires complete mandatory AODA and Bill 168 training modules• Prepared weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports and metrics (new hire, recruitment, headcount, board of directors, turnover, org chart updates etc.) • Coordinated Mattamy’s employee recognition program by vetting nominations in conjunction with the nominated employee’s manager, HR team leads, and the program nomination committee• Planned and organized Mattamy’s Annual Service Awards Luncheon for long service employees• Provided general administrative and project related support to department Managers and Executives
