My name is Michael Raimondi, Wealth Manager at Clarus Group, who provides financial planning and investment advisory services for Creative Professionals across all disciplines and stages of life. I most frequently work with Entertainment & Media Professionals, as well as the LGBTQIA+ community.As a former educator, I focus on increasing financial literacy and guiding clients to the most effective choices to help them optimally reach their goals. As a former film and theatre professional I have first-hand knowledge of the entertainment industry and the unique needs of those working within it. I craft personalized investment strategies for each of my clients, and build robust financial plans that are malleable as their circumstances change.Additionally, I have developed financial management skills in the nonprofit space and serve as the part-time Finance and Accounting Associate with Verified Voting. I also apply these skills in a consulting capacity for arts organizations assisting with benefits, insurance, building and managing complex budgets, coordinating bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting services, as well as creating, organizing, and managing development strategies including grant research and writing, fundraising, and events. I am originally from Southern California, and serve clients across the United States with concentrations in Los Angeles, Seattle, and my home, New York City. I earned my Certificate in Financial Planning from New York University, my BFA from Chapman University, my MFA from The New School, and am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.I live in Manhattan with my husband and my rescue dog, Touché.
