I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate and am passionate about expanding my knowledge of engineering and am eager to contribute to those initiativesThrough my time in college, I gained knowledge about structures, system dynamics and controls, thermodynamics, statistics, and fluid dynamics. I actively participated in various academic projects within these classes. I aimed to gain experience that could be applied in a professional setting. Some of the skills I learned include 3D modeling, finite element analysis, and specific statistical methods.I have also been a part of ASU's EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service) program wherein I am currently working on building an electric pushcart to aid ASU technicians. I have managed this team for three semesters as team lead and am excited to start building a prototype in the spring of 2024. Additionally, in my final year of my undergraduate program, applying everything that I previously learned into my senior capstone project, I helped design a Hoyer lift optimized for turning patients onto their side. I helped create CAD models and specification drawings of prototype parts, fabricate the prototype, create testing procedures, and develop a fully comprehensive project document along with several design reviews. Truly it was an awesome experience, and I am grateful for my team and the opportunity to work on this project. I look forward to the next one.
