I am an artist, author and activist equipped with more than twenty years of advancing diversity, equity and social justice through award-winning brand management, digital marketing and creative storytelling in corporate, federal, academic and non-profit environments. I offer a proven record of helping large organizations undergo transformations in their brand, creative direction, and marketing operations while continuously building the business of equality. A sought after speaker on audacious authenticity, brand elevation, and social equity, I am the author of “Wisdom of Guncles: Living Life from a Queer Perspective” available in local bookstore and online. I currently serve as the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Abt Global where I am responsible for the development, establishment, and maintenance of the global marketing and communications vision and strategy. Leading a global team and network of marketing, communications, and creative professionals across multiple geographies, I am responsible for enhancing and refreshing Abt’s global brand strategy and marketing ecosystem.Prior to this, I served as the Director of Brand for Booz Allen Hamilton where I led brand research, strategy and activation. Efforts to redefine and pivot the brand were recognized with the Gartner award for Corporate Brand and the PRSA Silver Anvil for Brand excellence. As a cleared individual, my work has also been recognized with the PRSA Bronze Anvil award for digital strategy having led digital transformation, research and creative marketing for the DoD, the FBI, DHS, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and IRS amongst others. I directed the LGBTQ Forum “GLOBE” for more than a decade and am proud that our efforts to advance equality in the workplace earned us the Washington Business Journal Business of Pride Award and a feature in the US Chamber of Commerce's 2019 Inclusion Report. Due to my work in brand and diversity, I have also been a faculty member of OPM’s Institute for Federal Leadership at Georgetown University since 2015. I received my Masters in Communications, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and am an Executive Scholar of Kellogg University. I have a Bachelor in Arts specializing in photography and multimedia design from the University of California, Santa Barbara which I augmented with coursework at the Sydney College of Arts. Born in the Philippines and raised in Australia, I currently reside in Washington, DC.
