Agile Development – Implemented Scrum into the development lifecycle to provide a more formal development process. Created the policies and procedures to move a project from the different phases in a sprint and the forms required for the appropriate signoffs. Migrated source control from Microsoft Source Safe to Team Foundation Server to handle the versioning, source control, and the Scrum process using the Scrum Template 1.0. Implemented Team Build to automatically build a project for the different DEV, QA, and Production environments based on the App.config or Web.Config file settings and build type. Technology Used: Scrum, SDLC, Source Safe, Visual Studio 2010, C#, Team Foundation Server 2010, Scrum Template 1.0, Team BuildHigh Availability/Scalability – Managed a High Availability project which transitioned two SQL Server 2008 R2 servers in a virtual environment to a two node Active/Passive cluster with automatic failover. I created a weekly full, daily incremental and 30 minute transactional backup of the databases as well as a daily restore process to a second SQL Server instance to be used for ad hoc and automated reports. This tremendously increased the reliability and availability of the data. Technology Used: SQL Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 R2Data Extraction – Coded the classes and the bit arithmetic to transform a mixture of encoded and un-encoded fields from binary files so that the data could be imported into a SQL Server database. This allowed the company to extract data from their legacy system, allowing reports and analytics which were previously not possible. Technology Used: Visual Studio 2010, C#

Manager of the Supporting Applications team responsible for developing applications around legacy systems and improving business processes in a high pressure, fast paced environment, reporting directly to the CIO. Team consisted of 4 programmers and 1 DBA. Assigned resources to projects and managed to project deliverables. Worked with business leaders to exceed desired results. Involved in the hiring and interview process by reviewing resumes and selecting candidates based on their qualifications. Responsible for the full software lifecycle process, from project planning, requirements gathering, architecture planning, application development, deployment, and maintenance. Data Migration – Managed a two year migration project with over 700,000 accounts from our Regional East/Southeast offices, beating project timelines and deliverables. The data consisted of over 26 clients with over $3 billion in receivables and over $350 million in payments, costs, and fees. Contributed to the creation of data transfer formats, client and data research, creation of the SQL queries responsible for extracting the required data from the legacy system, and reporting success back to the business. Managed 3 programmers and 1 DBA in developing the framework and web interface used to migrate the accounts on a client specific basis. Technologies Used: Java, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, XML, Tomcat, MySQLProcess Optimization – Created a web page which allows the attorneys to view their scheduled court dates online and export the results to excel. Search criteria for state, attorney, and jurisdictions allow users to customize their results for their specific office and attorneys, saving up to 6 hours of daily manual effort. Arbitration – Streamlined and expanded the Arbitration process by increasing outbound capacity by 500% and FedEx service tracking capability by 800%, through automation and improved application process flow. Expanded service internationally to Puerto Rico. Cost reconciliation leading to the recovery of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Technology Used: Java, JavaScript, Tomcat, MySQLVersion Control – Implemented CVSNT for source control so that application code changes could be managed across the team. It also provided detailed historical information on the code, and it allowed for recovery from any deletions or allowed for roll backs in case any serious errors were made during a change. Technologies Used: CVSNT, TortoiseCVSReplication – Spearheaded a MySQL database replication project to scale-out application load across several servers. Configuration consisted of one master, two replication servers, and one development server allowing us to distribute load across several servers, reducing query times and locks, and providing data redundancy.Process Optimization – Created a Visual C++ application to capture abandoned call data from the Symposium PBX as a dialing strategy to capture good phone numbers that would have been lost due to dropped calls or hang-ups. Development of this application saved the firm over $12,000 in vendor contract development and countless of dollars in payments due to Right Party Contacts. Mann Bracken, LLC is an Atlanta based law firm specialized in legal recovery of consumer debt. During my employment, I have used multiple technologies to create and deploy solutions for the benefit of the firm and their clients. Our innovation and growth led to the sale of the IT services to a private investment firm, myself being named one of the key employees essential to the company, and the creation of the company MB Solutions, LLC which was later rebranded to Axiant, LLC.Arbitration – Created a web based system to manage the flow of business through the Arbitration process. Contributed significantly to the development of the Arbitration department making Mann Bracken, LLC the industry leader in processing arbitration claims nationwide. Technologies Used: Java, JavaScript, Tomcat, MySQL, UNIXReporting – Created a secure web based report module which is accessible for both internal and external use by the company and clients. The page is capable of user management, account level auditing, and the creation and management of specialized inventory and financial reports with the ability to customize search criteria without having to know SQL. Technologies Used: PHP, JavaScript, SSL, MySQLClient Interface/EDI – Created web based and command line interfaces to generate import/export EDI and financial files between multiple clients and multiple file specifications. Developed the interface responsible for the company’s largest client who corresponded to over 50% of the business and up to $1 million in gross remittance a week. AASC provides inventory management and IT solutions for the auto auctions industry and recovery agents. As a developer I contributed to web application programming including full lifecycle production, release, and maintenance using Perl and Java, developed distributed Windows applications using Visual C++, and EDI file parsing using multithreaded C scripts.Application Programming – Developed an application to track user software, upgrade the main application software, and upgrade itself over the internet.
