I enjoy being involved in team environments, helping to design, develop and deploy applications that will benefit millions of users. Through the years I have designed and developed solutions and products targeted toward consumers, SMBs, large enterprises, and specific verticals like healthcare and retail markets. I have had the opportunity to help existing startups like Netscape and Attic Labs and to help found even earlier startups like AvantGo, KACE, Los Altos Research Center, and LARC Networks - helping lead them to successful exits with IPOs, acquisitions, and product launches. My unique blend of strong software development skills, great communication skills, extensive business experience and focused education enables me to be a great asset to most any opportunity.Specialties: Software design and development, high scalability system architectures, network programming, engineering management, technology leadership, product design, business analysis, technical due diligence and evaluation

Cto, Vp Of Engineering, Principal Software EngineerNubix Oct 2017 - Jan 2022Nubix is a container platform that makes it easy to develop and deploy IoT and edge applications. Nubix runs on the tiniest microprocessors, enabling developers to easily process data on the sensor device where the data is created. My responsibilities include building and leading a team of software engineers to enable edge native applications for IoT and enterprise customers. We envision and are building toward a world where intelligence can run everywhere ‒ with smart systems automating prediction and prevention to drive change. Our software has a small footprint to enable edge compute including machine learning at or near the source of data. Our solution is cloud-optional - disconnected or transient IoT devices are fully supported.
