    Current Project: Costain Skanska joint venture (CSJV C360). Working as part of a Joint Venture team to build ventilation and access shafts in east London. I have recently become part of a JV team constructing ventilation and access shafts in east London, the shafts will house ventilation and emergency exit facilities between Stratford and Liverpool Street stations. At Mile End, the works will include the relocation of a coach park and all-weather football pitch within the grounds of the park. The ventilation shafts along the Crossrail route have been designed to ensure optimal air movement within the tunnels.Responsible for site commercial activities, I focus the majority of my time managing project change to the Client, closing out historical issues and planning current and future administration of change. I am responsible for the preparation of change processes’ and ensuring the site team are executing the contract correctly. I also play a role in the preparation of delay notifications demonstrating delay causes and seeking recovery of additional time and cost under the contract as well as the preparation of detailed Time Impact Analysis with supporting project records demonstrating entitlement. Working closely with the CSJV Commercial leads, one of my roles is to ensure the information obtained at site level is accurate and in the correct position to allow any potential claims to be managed or supported. I am responsible for the development of the site procedures whilst making sure the site team maintain comprehensive schedule of records. I provide support to the project manager to ensure all site operations are in line with our contract obligation whilst managing our contractors to do the same. Working alongside the construction manager I am responsible for approving contractor site change requests.

The Western Alberta Transmission Line ($1.5b) is to provide an efficient and reliable transmission grid. Responsible for site commercial activities I am tasked with the preparation of contractual correspondence to the clients, subcontractors, vendors, consortium partners. I review incoming project correspondence for contractual hazards and implications. Along with the site construction manager I oversee the project scheduling function and ensure reporting and content matches contractual requirements and current contractual entitlements.I play a role in the preparation of delay notifications stating delay causes and seeking recovery of additional time and cost under the contract and the preparation of detailed Time Impact Analysis with supporting project records demonstrating entitlement. I am responsible for executing and developing site practices to create greater commercial efficiency whilst recording and reporting data with particular focus on streamlining data captured from contractors and the client. Working closely with the contracts change team, one of my roles is to ensure the information obtained at site level is accurate/factual and in the correct position to allow any potential claims to be managed or supported. I am responsible for the continued supervision and development of the site procedures whilst making sure the site team maintain comprehensive schedule records systems archiving construction progress and costs expended. I provide support to the project manager to ensure all site operations are in line with our contract obligation whilst managing our contractors to do the same. Working alongside the construction manager and our contractors I am responsible for approving contractor site change requests and monthly billings/Applications as well as commercially corresponding with the project contractors and suppliers.
