My remit changed considerably within this time from initially being brought in as a HR business partner for the expatriate staff and Department of Studies to also leading the expatriate recruitment team with responsibility of a team of 6 (5 Vietnamese & 1 expatriate) recruiting circa 600 teaches per year. Some notable achievements within my short time: Expat Services Manager (HR BP)• Supported and advised the Director of Studies on how to effectively deliver a confidential restructure.• Supported, coached and trained Centre academic managers on how to effectively deliver disciplinaries in line with local labor laws.• First point of contact for all expat staff relating to all HR matters and emergency contact.Recruitment Management• Created and started a 6-point initiative recruitment plan to help overcome a cyclical teacher shortage period experienced by ILA over the last couple of years• Introduced social media recruitment, branding and google advertising as recruitment channels• Designed and created a temporary landing page (website advert) to direct all advertising traffic as none available. • Improved low recruitment team moral by carrying out weekly meetings and individual 1 to 1s.• Immediate impact on recruitment KPIs in terms of hires.
