The date set for the transition of the ANA Infantry Training School to operate independently was reduced by six months. I was responsible for planning and implementing a plan to meet this reduced deadline. Not only was the reduced deadline met but a further reduction of two months was achieved with operational savings totalling £100,000. The transition plan was defined as "A ground breaking assessment of ANA capability" and was used as a reference point for all other transition plans.
