Formerly worked as Lead Electrical Engineer for EPCC Contract under Petronas for RAPID Solid Product Jetty P12B Project.

For the first 2 months, I was working as an Electrical Engineer, assisting on all electrical work packages for tender projects in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Afterwards, assigned to join the Engineering team for Petronas RAPID SPJ P12B Project.

My responsibility includes handling engineering department of the project, attends weekly progress meeting with client, evaluates sub-contract awards, provides technical support to the sub contractors, site engineers and superintendent, coordinates with Contracts, Planning, Construction and QAQC departments, performs material take off, procurement and liaison with supplier & forwarder, directly reporting to Project Manager.

Assigned as Electrical Project Engineer for Jurong Aromatics Complex – Jetty Works Project. Project scope includes E & I installations in Hazardous & Safe Areas, Marine Loading Arms, Gangway Towers, Mooring & Berthing Dolphins, ESD, DCS & FGS Systems, Substation & Control room building and Vapor Destruction Unit. Handles subcontractor for the project. Attends coordination, progress, safety meeting. Handles engineering, construction and procurement issues that need to be solved. Involves in the Electrical Start up, Testing and Commissioning phase of the Project

Assigned as Electrical Design Engineer for the expansion of Jurong Port Cement Terminal Plant. Project scope includes expansion of the existing substation to cater for installation of Low Voltage Switchgear, Capacitor Bank, VSD, UPS, Battery banks, Distribution boards. It also includes Power, Cable Trays, Lighting, Earthing, Lightning works and Cable Schedule. I was assigned in preparation of detail design. Attends Factory Acceptance Test for all Electrical Equipments. Assigned also as Electrical Project Engineer during the construction phase of the project. Handles electrical subcontractor for the whole project. Involved in the Electrical Start up, Testing and Commissioning phase of the Project

Assigned as Electrical Engineer for the existing SRC plant modifications. Project scope includes, expansion of the existing oil handling substation to cater for installation of 22 KV Switchgear, 3.3 KV switchgear and mcc, UPS, RCP, Marshalling panels, distribution panels and dc charger. I was assigned to support the lead engineer in preparing the detail engineering design such as preparation of lighting, street lighting, power, lightning, grounding, fire alarm, wiring diagrams, typical installation details, BM/BQ, requisition and technical evaluation of some equipments and preparation of connection diagram.

Assigned as Electrical Design Engineer for the new Manifa Plant in Saudi. Project scopes includes, lighting layout design, 3D modeling for lighting fixtures, street lighting fixtures, receptacles, panels and welding outlets using PDS Equipment and 3D modeling for cable tray support using PDS Frameworks. I was assigned in preparing the detail engineering design such as preparation of voltage drop calculation for lighting and street lighting cables, panel scheduling, illumination calculation using Luxicon software, hands on 3D modeling of lighting fixtures, receptacles, panels, street lighting poles, and welding outlets, hands on 3D modeling of cable tray supports based on NEMA VE 1 & 2 standards, hands on generation of lighting fixtures and cable tray supports MTO using PDS software, Clash check using Smart Plant Reviewer. Attends bi-weekly coordination meeting between JGC Yokohama Japan engineers tru video conference to discuss project progress, design issues etc.

Assigned as Electrical Design Engineer for the new NCP Plant in Saudi. Project scopes are detail engineering design of the whole plant such as power, lighting, grounding, cable tray, substation and equipment layout. Connection diagram, panel schedules and wiring diagrams. Also included in the package is the 3D modeling of electrical conduits, MV & LV cable tray and trenches using PDS Raceway, 3D modeling of lighting fixtures, receptacles, panels, welding outlets, LCS, transformers, CCTV and heat tracing panels using PDS Equipment and 3D modeling for cable tray support using PDS Frameworks. I was assigned hands on 3D modeling of all the above mentioned items. Hands on also in generation of lighting fixtures, cable tray, trenches, conduits and cable tray supports MTO using PDS software, Clash check using Smart Plant Reviewer. I was also assigned in 3D model review and coordination with JGC Yokohama counterpart in maintaining the quality and progress of our 3D models.

Assigned as Electrical Site Supervisor for the new CBNC Nickel Mining Plant in Palawan Philippines. Project scope is the construction of the new plant. I was assigned to supervise the subcontractor in construction of lighting and grounding works. Also, I was involved in performing power receiving, motor solo run, insulation testing, sequence check and grounding pit testing. Prepares Field change sheets, Site instructions and Field trouble reports. Review 3D model for the proper installation, alignment and orientation of lighting fixtures, receptacle, welding outlets and panels. Prepares marked-up drawings for As-Built. Lastly, monitors and coordinates with field supervisors all electrical works and ensures that sub-contractors are complying with our drawings and standards.

Assigned as Electrical Engineer for the existing RTN Nickel Mining Plant in Palawan Philippines. Project scope is some plant modifications categorized as investment projects for the improvement of process and output of the plant. I was assigned in engineering department in preparing the electrical detail design of the investment projects like Installation of additional Final Neutralization Scrubber, 3 km Macadam Road Street lighting, Final Neutralization Blowers Relocation in Chemical Area, LRH power supply installation, Installation of 50m3 Potable water tank and ACU installation in Foreman’s Duplex.

Assigned as Electrical Design Engineer for the new CBNC Nickel Mining Plant in Palawan Philippines. Project scopes are detail engineering design of the whole plant such as power, lighting, grounding, cable tray, substation and equipment layout. Connection diagram, panel schedules and wiring diagrams.
