My education and work history has provided me with deep information systems knowledge and extensive practical skills, primarily in software engineering. My experience in the industry includes a number of development environments and target platforms. I have extensive experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, programming in C++, C# (ASP.Net), Visual Basic, and VBScript (ASP). I have developed and supported software products for various OS environments including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and OS 2200. My forte is user interface (UI) development for specialized desktop and web applications. In addition to the user-facing aspect of UI software, many products I have developed and supported include a lot of back-end processing tasks such as: database access, registry access, system calls, Windows services and Linux daemons, low-level file system access, and TCP/IP communications. I also have proficient skills in website design and deployment, as well as technical documentation.
