I am a recent graduate Environmental Science and Engineering, ambitious to develop my skills in the environmental sector. I am hardworking and personable and will easily suit any working environment. My RMIT coursework is industry recognised and has provided me with the skills necessary for a seamless entry to the workplace. My internship at Earth & Every has introduced me to the world of regulatory framework. I reviewed scientific advice from the Independent Expert Scientific Committee (IESC) on Coal Seam Gas and Large Coal Mining Developments, and drafted key memorandum that could be used by our team of lawyers, as well as NGO's such as the Australian Conservation Foundation. These memorandums included the monitoring and reporting of impacts to water resources under federal environmental law.I am currently working at the Tasmanian Walking Company as a wilderness guide on the Three Capes track in south-east Tasmania. Providing guests in-depth knowledge of the rich environment that has diverse and unique flora and fauna. It has helped my ability to communicate nature and science in a digestible way that can make the everyday person interested in protecting the planet.
