- Led data science efforts on the Communities Product Group (CPG) org, under the Community Management team. Our team specializes on defining, operationalizing, and driving key metrics with respect to community culture and integrity across all community entities on Facebook.- Developed an analytical framework to quantify, measure, and demonstrate ecosystem impact of users performing social roles within the Communities ecosystem. Led to the development of the Deep Participation metric, one of the key topline outcomes for the Communities org.- DS lead for Communities as New Organizations (CaNO) effort, aiming to revamp FB Groups to better support large-scale, in-person organizations. Initiatives included developing functionality chapters/subgroups, monetization capabilities, and a diversified roles and permission framework to enable non-adminstrative deep participation.

Marketplace- Co-led the development of a global, automated, and self-updating driver incentive campaigns (20-30% of driver payments). Specialized in campaigns focused on geo and temporal positioning of drivers in high-incrementality areas- Managed stakeholder relationships over a worldwide reach, coordinating with central leadership in SF and regional leaders in Singapore, India, and across the EU- Designed a model-based framework to correct for cannibalization/network interference in market-level A/B experiments- Created an approach to quantify network effects and identify highest returns cities/areas when jointly increasing supply of drivers and ridersNeMo (bikes & scooters)- Created a supply positioning algorithm which forecasted reservation rates by hour of day and geography. Led the model development, reporting to users, and feedback loop which evaluated both forecast quality and compliance. Increased total trips by 20%- Developed a simulation framework to provide business justification for a new type of charging station. Framework was the analytical backbone for a multi-million dollar investment to decrease servicing costs by 30% - Partnered with S&P to create a predictive model analyzing the value of market entry (expanding to a new area/city). Process focused on both 1) best markets to enter and 2) given the market, the optimal size of the service area- Led weekly analytical review of all projects across the DS/DA org, ensuring quality of approach and appropriate business impact

I proposed, led, and published a research study on the driver supply response to earnings under competing economic models. My study challenged findings of an eminent behavioral economics paper, Camerer et al. (1997), by finding significant and substantial positive supply elasticities.

I worked under Devin Pope, a professor in the field of Behavioral Economics, in developing research and analyzing data. A highlighted portion of my work includes creating, administrating, and analyzing a 10,000-individual survey on Amazon's Mechanical Turk, designing and managing a research team collecting information on police shootings, and evaluating field-position effects on point conversion in a play-by-play NFL dataset.
