Over fifteen years experience in both design and construction working on transportation related projects. I have experience working on projects primarily in the Northeast.Work in New York included office engineering on three NYSDOT projects and being the resident engineer on two federally-aided local area bridge projects through Dutchess County Public Works. Work included traffic signals, intersection reconstruction, sidewalk placement, paving, bridge superstructure rehab, bridge painting, Class A Containment, drainage, bridge substructure rehab. My experience also included designing two sidewalk projects and an intersection reconstruction project. Work included stormwater management, drainage, curbing, sidewalk, and traffic signals. Attending pubic hearings and proessing permit applications. I currently work in Connecticut where I have primarily focused on traffic related tasks for CTDOT and municipality projects. I have experience writing traffic impacts studies, transportation management plans, and design reports. Plan design and production includes temporary signalization, maintenance and protection of traffic, highway plans, signal plans, and signing and pavement marking plans. I have also presented at public information meetings and project interviews.My goals at this point in my career are bring innovation to the Connecticut transportation market.
