 Communicate with customers about process, materials, and parameters to best fit unique needs. 3D printing of prototype parts according to customer desires and requirements. Prepare CAD models for printing by modifying imperfect 3D files using Materialise Magics/SOLIDWORKS software and determine print orientation per part geometry and machine strengths/weaknesses. Test and optimize machine parameters for new flexible & ridged materials for selective laser sintering (SLS). Supervise and perform printing, post-processing, and shipping of hundreds (and counting) of SLS models.  Ensure lab space and machines run at optimal performance by measuring parts for dimensional accuracy with calipers, micrometers, and height gauge.
