Previously, I led IT, cybersecurity, and privacy at Editas Medicine to harness the potential of CRISPR gene editing.Previously I helped improve cancer patients' outcomes at Foundation Medicine, building the world's leading cancer genomics diagnostic, research, and patient outcomes platform. #OurCodeCrushesCancer, literally. My role was to enable technology teams to innovate faster, deploy our life-saving code more often, AND be compliant with FDA quality, US and EU privacy, and global cyber-security regulations and standards. As head of Information Security, I employed modern SDLC methods such as agile, DevSecOps, application security engineering to support HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR requirements. Thriving in high- and hyper-growth environments, I drive process and change implementation, link vision to execution, and lead and develop high performing teams with positivity.Previously, I was Vice President – Technology Services, CISO & Compliance with Mobiquity, Inc., which we founded and expanded to 500 staff and $50M in just over four years. Previous positions included SVP - Operations/Managed Services/Acquisitions with GlassHouse Technologies, and a Vice President - Service Delivery position with StorageNetworks, the first data storage cloud services firm. Earlier I held roles of increasing responsibility with Cambridge Technology Partners in the US and Europe.My previous achievements include:- Directed the implementation of a rigorous Corporate Information Security (InfoSec) program and a Quality Management System (QMS) to meet growing security requirements of global customers in both regulated and unregulated industries, including retail, healthcare, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals- Oversaw ISO 13485 certification (Quality Management for Medical Devices), ISO 9001 Quality Management- Drove the growth of GlassHouse Technologies from start-up to 600 employees, and led over 10 company domestic and international acquisitionsMy qualifications include an MBA, a BS in Electrical Engineering, AWS Business Professional Accreditation, and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). In addition, I am President of the Board of the Wellesley Conservation Land Trust, an elected member of Wellesley Town Meeting, and a frequent Guest Lecturer at Babson College.
