Approaching almost two decades as a strategist in the areas of product development, marketing, and technology my focus has moved from solely developing and delivering product launches and digital media campaigns to establishing thought leadership in the field of health and wellness, specifically regarding tactics to attract and motivate people towards healthier behaviors. In 2016, I was honored to be named one of the top 50 influencers in digital health by Onalytica. Over the past decade I have been fortunate to feed my passion for wellness and fitness by working in both the cognitive science and health club sectors. In addition to my current role with Active Wellness, I also currently function as Verywell.com's Health Technology "Expert".I am a charter member of the International Positive Psychology Association, as well as a member of the American Psychological Association. I’m accredited by the American College of Sports Medicine. I’m also an active member of the American Marketing Association. Although a Clydesdale athlete I can still proudly tout being a two-time Ironman. My passions are wellness-centered products, technology, marketing, psychology, philanthropy, and anything that helps improve people’s overall well-being.Prior clients and employers include Universal Studios, Sony, Red Bull, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. Accolades include industry awards and publications (see below for a partial list). My dissertation focused on identifying the tactics and strategies that move workplace wellness programs forward.
