I love getting technology to work for people. My entire career has been finding ways around ‘it can’t be done’ and showing up and saying ‘I figured it out’. I have to bad/good luck of launching myself into projects just as an industry is about to change. I worked in banking as the securitization market was taking off, figured out the whole regulatory processes when the industry imploded, decided to do a start-up in education as a quick IT project since the industry hadn’t changed in centuries and then COVID hit and I found myself building online schools and being on the cutting edge of remote learning. I am now building solutions for clients as AI and Machine Learning are just taking off. It should be an exciting ride.I am detailed oriented and use proven project management methodologies and believe if you listen long enough, the solution will be found in all the details. The solution usually follows a hybrid of Agile and waterfall approaches to make work and am convinced if you stay on the cutting edge of what is happening in the IT industry it is a lot more fun than to be trying to keep a dying platform that is on life support. I primarily use Amazon Web Services, React, GraphQL, any database that is best for the solution (RDS, no-SQL, etc.) and build websites, Progressive Web Apps, and App Store solutions.I have lived in the US, Mexico, United Kingdom, Switzerland and the Czech Republic in my career and have a team that works around the world. I look for talent that fits our organization ethos as opposed to people who fit within a certain zip code, religion, race, gender, etc.It is an exciting time within the industry. I am fortunate enough to be a part of it all
