I am a Senior Tax Manager at Realty Income, a public REIT. I oversee the entire compliance function for the legacy VEREIT portfolio, including federal and state income tax, sales tax and REIT compliance. Realty Income is expanding into new areas, both by market and geography and I'm exciting to be a part of the mission. I have experience with state audit defense, refund reviews, unclaimed property, multistate income tax preparation, use of OneSource and GoSystems tax preparation software, large scale data analysis using excel, access and IDEA software, as well as various other projects. Previously I worked at PwC in the CORE Tax group. There I gained experience with high net worth individuals, SALT, S corps, C Corps, Partnerships, and multinational corporations. My industries of focus were shipping, real estate and manufacturing. I was heavily involved in special programs while at PwC working in recruiting, community service, diversity initiatives and business development groups. Following my time at PwC I worked for State Tax Services, LLC, a tax consulting firm specializing in Sales and Use Tax. I worked for various Fortune 500 clients on a wide variety of specialized areas of the tax law in the healthcare, manufacturing and telecom industries.
