• Performed 2D and 3D modeling using Solidworks and Rhino3D, taking conceptual designs through to development stages, prototyping, testing and then to manufacturing and oversight.

• Designed, developed and implemented new mechanical suspension seat system to replaced preexisting seat design reducing cost by 60% in parts and labor.
• Ensure compliance with CE, ISO, EPA and Coast Guard requirements for production

• Researcher:Follow-on to my initial research, this phase was targeted at developing manufacturability parameters and controllability in the z-directional additive process.
• Advanced manufacturing methods for fiber reinforced carbon fiber composites.
• Developed packaging techniques for enhanced carbon fiber material.
• Conducted experimental procedures to determine mechanical properties of manufactured composite materials, following ASTM standards. - Toughness (D5528-94a [71]) - In-Plane Shear (D3846-94(70)) - Young’s Modulus.

• Researcher:Developed Z-directional reinforced carbon fiber composites for the U.S Air Force under a grant from Wright Patterson Air Force Base utilizing patented technology to improve the through-thickness thermal.
• Designed experiments to optimize radial thermal conductivity in carbon fiber composites.
• Developed techniques for improving radial thermal conductivity, generating a 450% increase in thermal conduction over control samples.
• Conducted material testing using Instron machinery following ASTM guidelines.
• Collected and quantified experimental data of mechanical, thermal and electrical properties in enhanced composites against control samples.
• Prepared reports, presentations and published literature on this research.

Coop Design Project: Bio-inspired Articulating Mannequin Developed a full sized, articulating mannequin that mimics human movement, enabling scientists to make objective, full system assessments of camouflage equipment in a holistic way.Patent of SSAM ( Self Supporting Adjustable Mannequin) was donated to NSRDEC for future production.
