Powerhouse analytics company focused on fighting fraud, waste, and abuse in the self-employed claims market. Helped the brilliant Ms. Asha George, former consultant at RemitDATA, to spin-out and set-up SmartLight. No further investment, but still a huge fan of Asha and her team in fighting this egregious problem in the U.S

Sanderson was the Co-Founder and President of RemitDATA, a leader in comparative analytics in healthcare provider operations. Sanderson was employee and investor number two, and started in 2002, when RemitDATA had less than $50,000 per year in SaaS revenue. In 2008, Sanderson was part of a successful capital raise with Noro-Moseley Partners and SSM Partners. During his tenure at RemitDATA, Sanderson brought a wealth of healthcare experience and relationships to drive dramatic growth. Sanderson's role entailed managing and expanding the company’s client base while developing new markets and partners. Sanderson guided the company from a direct sales model (with 18 sales reps) to a channel-driven organization with many of the top HCIT companies (Allscripts, GE, NextGen, Greenway, etc.) now private-labeling RemitDATA's solutions. RemitDATA had a successful exit to eSolutions, a Francisco Partners company, in August, 2017. eSolutions successfully sold to Waystar for $1.3B in August, 2020.

ChartONE (now owned by Ciox Health) provided electronic and manual medical record solutions for over 1,000 hospitals throughout the U.S. Part of a four-person team that created the idea & plan for the private, $60 million LBO by Warburg Pincus of certain assets & personnel from QuadraMed, Inc., to form ChartONE. EVP, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for the organization. ChartONE successfully sold to Ciox Health (Healthport) in 2008.

QuadraMed is a leading provider of software solutions for Health Information Management (HIM) departments and general hospital systems. Helped lead and manage sales team while absorbing over 18 acquisitions on a meteoric/chaotic rise to create a $1 Billion (market cap) publicly traded company. Also assisted in reviewing acquired technologies to determine market value, organizational fit and sales strategy. Part of a 4-person team which created the vision and plan for ChartONE (electronic medical records management) and then assisted in gaining the $60 million funding from Warburg Pincus which launched this private spin-off from QuadraMed.
